Launching streaming audio from their aptly named URL, B100.FM as a tribute to the legendary radio station in San Diego –  designed by its original architect. Come On Get Happy 2017

I resolved to NOT make a Resolution for the New Year. That was my way of handling it the last several years.  Worked great. Was first time ever I accomplished a resolution. But seriously lame. So I’m actually “thinking it through” (which was the last real resolution I made. I think it was in the late 80s.) this time and I’ve gotten pseudo serious on the subject and have come up with some possibilities. Resolve To make A Resolution First,Read more

Q’s and Ass

It’s not a spelling typo, but there should be an apostrophe between the 2 s’s. Simply means that each of the Q(uestions) gets two A(nswers), one from Bobby Rich and the other from Dr. Boogie. It can’t be avoided. And that is a GOOD thing. What it’s all about is knowing that you can escape the NOW and remember your BETTER time (with BETTER music) anytime you feel the need. We all need to keep up with what’s going on soRead more

“I Don’t Know What I Like…

…but I don’t like THAT song because I don’t know it.” After decades as a radio programmer and dj, I’ve been involved in every different form of research. From record/tape/CD/download sales and phone/email/text requests to auditorium and on-line music testing to focus groups, survey mailings and random call-out canvassing.  Go ahead, ask someone what kind of MUSIC they like.Read more
